Media LAB
The Media Lab is a group of young creatives that was formed through the training on live broadcast offered on the occasion of the Artecitya Thessaloniki conference organised by Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, in collaboration with local and international institutions (Artecitya Thessaloniki by TIF - Helexpo, LABattoir by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and Institute HyperWerk for Postindustrial Design, Basel).

Media Lab goes Berlin!
Tα έργα των συμμετεχόντων των εργαστηρίων του Media LAB: Exploring New Video Formats, part 3 & part 4, παρουσιάστηκαν στην έκθεση του προγράμματος FREIRAUM του Goethe-Institut, "On the State of Freedom in Europe" στο Βερολίνο από τις 12/03/2019 έως τις 17/03/2019.
Τα έργα είναι αποτέλεσμα εργαστηρίων, με την καθοδήγηση προσκεκλημένων ειδικών, στο πλαίσιο της στρατηγικής συνεργασίας του LABattoir με το Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki.
Στην τελική έκθεση του Freiraum παρουσιάστηκαν λιγότερες από 10 συνεργασίες, που επιλέχθηκαν ως οι πιο πετυχημένες μεταξύ των 42 συνολικά συνεργασιών του προγράμματος.
Τα έργα θα παρουσιαστούν και στο χώρο των Παλαιών Δημοτικών Σφαγείων τον Μάιο.
Τα έργα είναι αποτέλεσμα εργαστηρίων, με την καθοδήγηση προσκεκλημένων ειδικών, στο πλαίσιο της στρατηγικής συνεργασίας του LABattoir με το Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki.

The Media LAB workshop Artistic Approaches to Immersive Media resulted to the launch of an experimental 360 music video series that was produced by the Media LAB team.

Media Lab at STAMP festival 2017
At Stamp Festival, the Media Lab sets up a studio where interviews from other creatives based in Thessaloniki will be taken, in an effort to start a mapping of the creative scene in Thessaloniki.
The Media Lab is a project of Artecitya Thessaloniki by TIF - Helexpo, Artecitya Thessalonki by Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, LABattoir by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and Institute HyperWerk for Postindustrial Design, Basel. The partners support the Media Lab group, offering ongoing training and creating opportunities for practical experience.
Their participation at Stamp Festival is in preparation of their participation in the upcoming Art Science Technology Festival (September 9-17 2017).
